Vomiting is also commonly known as emesis. It is not a serious health problem, but is leads to any other diseases. The function of vomiting is to remove harmful substance and toxic. The major causes of vomiting are pregnancy, surgery, gastroenteritis and food poisoning. Vomiting can also lead to dehydration. Here there are some home remedies for vomiting.
Apple Cider Vinegar:
Mix apple cider vinegar in a glass of water with 2 tsp of honey. Drink it twice to stop repeated vomiting.
Chewing aniseeds helps in curing vomit easily. Add it in foods daily.
Chew cinnamon whenever you feel like vomiting. It helps to treat nausea.
Chew cloves. It helps in digestion and can also cures vomiting.
Crush 10 – 15 curry leaves and make a paste. Add 2 tsp of honey in it. Eat this mixture twice
Crush 3 – 4 garlic cloves as a paste. Mix the paste in 1 glass of milk and drink.
Slice the ginger and chew. Ginger is good for digestive system.
Take 2 tsp of lemon juice in 1 glass of water. It helps to avoid a feel of vomiting.
Boil a cup of rice in 3 cups of water in a pot. Strain the water and drink. It helps alleviate vomiting.
Eat 3 – 4 pieces of watermelon / musk melon everyday which contains lot of water.
As usual take 4 – 5 liters of warm water regularly.
