Dandruff is a hair and scalp problem which is very common among everyone.  During winter season, dandruff often causes the scalp to become dry.  Even most people wash their hair with hot water it remains the same.  Dandruff is a big complaint, especially in winter season. Here we provided some home remedies for dandruff which is the better way to remove dandruff.

Soak 2 tsp of fenugreek seeds in water for 6 – 8 hours.  Nicely grind into a past and apply on the scalp.  Leave it for ½ hour and wash off.


The best way to kick off the dandruff is the curd massage.  Leave the curd open for 3 days and apply it on your hair.


Take a lemon juice and gently apply it on the scalp.  Repeat it once a week.

4Hair Brush:

Use a smooth hair brush which wont hurts you and your hair.

5Coconut Oil:

Apply pure coconut oil all over your head and hair daily in the morning / evening.  It moisturizes the dry scalp.


Apply plain yogurt into the scalp after rinse your hair, and leave it for 15 minutes and wash off again.


Use a best shampoo which suits you.  Apply little amount of shampoo and leave it for 2 minutes before rinsing.

8Apple Cider Vinegar:

Take 2 tsp of vinegar and add equal amount of water.  Apply on the scalp and massage.  Rinse after ½ hours.  It helps to clean pores.

9Olive Oil:

Regular use of olive oil overnight helps to cure scalp dryness.  It is an effective natural moisturizes.

10Aloe Vera:

You must not get enough of this miracle plant.  Apply aloe vera gel on your scalp.  Wash off with mild shampoo.


Neem leaves are an excellent antifungal agent.  Boil neem leaves and make a paste of it.  Apply it and wash off.


Make a smooth past of garlic and apply it on the scalp.  Wash off in ½ an hour.  It helps to kill bacteria.


Make a paste of tulsi and amla.  Apply on your scalp and rinse it off.
